Having a shoulder operation tomorrow......

Hi I have impingement syndrome and I am having surgery tomorrow, along with something called 'Mumsford Procedure' I am getting a little worried now its getting closer! Has anyone else had this done and is it very painful afterwards? Any info would be greatly received!!
