Making sure you are using decent headphones or speakers, hover your cursor over the "22kHz-12kHz Sweep + Voice Over" bit.

(It's a downsweeping continuous tone with regular frequency anouncements).

At what point do you hear something ?

For me, it's 17khz

I've done something similar before and got about the same, apparantly, the younger you are, the lower you can hear. Might do it later, when everyone else isn't asleep . . .

In a household where my wife and daughters can hear bats, dog whistles and those ultrasonic things which are supposed to keep cats out of your garden, I don't need to check my hearing - I already KNOW I'm practically deaf !
12k.

Molly - *higher* (not lower) the usual upper limit for a healthy young person is around 20khz, beyond 25/30 years old it usually starts dropping.
I can hear up to about 17khz - but only if it's pointing right at me. I used to be able to hear bat squeaks easily, sadly those days seem to be over.
I can hear all of them and I'm 50 am I weird?

You need to put on a pair of headphones Ena, then hover the cursor over the icon marked "22kHz-12kHz Sweep + Voice Over" then listen to the decending tone.
You should hear something at some point.
Liking the nice new photo of Violet.
"at wot point do you hear" not a measure of when you dont hear ? No sound after 12 so is it counted at first sound ?

One could read it the other way round Jaydar, I just assumed that the average ABer wouldn't be able to hear as high as 22khz (where the decending tone starts).
pinki is the last sound you hear at 19 - cancel the rocker date :)
