Sometimes, like last night, I am sitting watching TV, or reading, and I get the feeling in my head that I am moving. I am not but I immediately feel headachy and sick, I lose the ability to concentrate, even to have a conversation is a pest. Even a nights sleep doesnt always help, it can take 24 hours before the feeling wears off and I can get on with normal life. What is it?

It sounds like vertigo, or perhaps a touch of labyrinthitis - or it could just be an ear infection. Go and see your doctor - don't let it go on.
Sounds like vertigo to me:

..in the meantime, a travel sickness pill will probably do as a temporary 'fix'.
Not enough information.
Goes the room or you spin round i.e is there an element of rotation or is it just unsteadiness?
How long does it last?
Any noise or fullness in the ears?
How old are you?
Are you on any medication?
How long has this been goin on for?
Must apologise........I have just checked your past posts.....you are a 60 yr old diabetic taking Insulin. I still need to know the answers to my questions, but in their absence, I would make sure that your sugar levels are in order and it does seem like an eye problem, probably secondary to your diabetes.

No big deal and don´t worry..........it doesn't sound like vertigo which is a symptom and not a disease. Give me a better account of this unsteadiness and all will be revealed............I hope!
