Is there any way of cutting a capsule so it can be divided in half? A capsule of medicine I am thinking about"

Yes, it be possible if you want to lessen the mg you wanted to take.

it depends what's in the capsule. It might be liquid, or it might be some other substance. Some capsules are ok to tamper with (for example you can open omeprazole up and take the insides on a spoon of jam) others will not be ok. Additionally, some capsules are slow or modified release and if you took the insides out from the sapsule, you'd be getting the whole dose at once.

Oh yes the one I want to cut is time-release so i had better not do it.
