Yes, it could be hormones and the change but maybe in concert with something else. See several doctors and make sure some are female. I saw a female doctor and she solved my problem first time which my male doctor did not and I'd been seeing him for quite a while. Try not to worry. It's natural to be concerned but worrying's a pain you can well do without. Try doing relaxation techniques and breathe deeply and slowly, to calming music if you prefer it. Best of luck and good health to you jubieanna. I like the pup's photo too.!
Give me a woman of 40+ give me ANY symptom and with in 3 weeks it will be ascribed to hormones. Male doctors step back and female doctors step forward.

jubie..."light headed and dizzy?" So which is it? Light headed OR dizzy or perhaps both.

Dizziness, implies and element of rotation, you spin around OR the room spins around.
Light headed....no element of rotation, but you feel faint and feel as if you are passing out.

Which is it?
