In this weather I have a problem with sweating under my boobs and it gets quite sore sometimes, I only wear a cotton bra (no wires) and put 'Hydrocortizone' cream on and its good but at £6 per tiny tube its costing me a fortune, Constant washing and changing doesn't really help.
Any of you ladies have the same prob?? What do you use? any reccomendations??

I used to work in a nursing home and we were always advised to put talc under the lady residents' boobs so that they wouldn't develop sweat rashes which could turn nasty. I'm not insinuating you fall into that category though :) x
I had something similar last year .A sort of heat rash under the bazooms :) Most uncomfortable .I used Lanacane anti chafing gel which quickly cleared it up ..They also do a talc which is cooling and helps to dry the heat rash .

I put JJ baby powder there when poss, being as I'm quite active it doesn't last long. The cream is most important. I will try Lanacane shaney.
Thankyou for your answers ladies.

take your bra off at every opportunity too, really helps.
try getting a more supportive bra as well, the ones that look like scaffolding are good, give your boobs plenty of air as well
hi, you need to buy own brand cream (boots, superdrug, lloyds etc) it'll cost you half as much
yep talk is the best thing to use
if you use ant type of cream it will just make it worse
its the same for people who has the same problem with there legs rubling together
Question Author
Well rachael, I have tried talk but they won't listen to me. (giggle)

I do wear the best bra "Doreen" by Triumph, they are excellent.
ethan, for me things are worse without a bra and not comfortable. (sweating is worse)
I'm going to town tomorrow to see what is exactly out there in creams.
Thankyou ladies for your interest.

I use Sudocreme - the stuff that's for nappy rash. Its great.
try using the caneston hydrocortisone cream as it has the added anti fungal agent which should help
Question Author
Yes I've heard of Sudocreme frances, ThanQ.
lilly, It is Caneston Hydrocortisone cream I already use, as I said "Its good" but at £6 a hit, Expensive. I was looking for an alternative.

Thankyou ladies.

My doctor told me to try Sudocreme for this problem. I had suffered from the problem for years and the Sudocreme cleared it up within a couple of weeks and I have had no problems since. That was about 10 years ago.
While it is at the red and sore stage a folded muslin nappy tucked under the elastic helps stop further rubbing If it starts to smell so it seems like it might be a fungal infection try athletes foot powder,,, has a fungicide in it, a tub lasts ages and helps stop the rubbing too a lot cheaper than the creams.
i agree with francis asis....sudocreme is the best!
