I need some advice while waiting to see gp please

I have a really really sore nipple, no broken skin, no leakage, i am in my early 40's, not pregnant etc , any idea what is wrong?
any adive would be good

I've had this problem myself and found it was

1) my bra lace
2) dry nipple - moisturise

maybe mastitius, caused by either breastfeeding or through chafing of the nipple!

its not joggers nipple, it been like this for about 3days feels kinda lumpy , no redness, no swelling no heat, but bloody sore, oh and i wear cotton bars

Mastitis is a lot more than a sore nipple.

Look at your bra, especially where the seam is in relation to your nipple.

i have had it if u see a spreading outwith the nipple, you can see it moving!!!

could just be allergy to bra or washing powder. Powder with athletes foot powder (antiseptic) to heal and relieve itching.

Wednesday, it not really the skin thats sore, but it looks like i will just have to contain myself till Wednesday.

if you want my opinion I'd say you have an infection in your milk ducts. antibiotics.

but expect to be referred to the hospital for a thorough check up as a matter of routine.
