mini pill

my daughter aged 37 has been on the mini pill since the birth of her baby last november. recently she has been bleeding for six weeks, two weeks clear, and now she's been bleeding for four weeks up to now. after her first child she had no problem with this pill. can anyone tell me if this is usual. I have told her to go to her GP
