Is there anyone that can help me with information on how to get my granddaughter checked to see if she is Dyslexic.? She is 11 next week and her SATS report was very poor. My daughter did keep on at her primary school about getting her tested but they never did anything about it. Many thanks

the school can tell u how to contact the dyslexic service or your local council.

I had the same with my son, now 40, and find he is partially deaf though he wont accept it.
lilacben its ure daughters job!!!
Your grand daughter's parents could have a word with the girl's doctor, who'd then refer her to a paediatrician who could get any tests done.

puddicat I know it is my daughters job ,thankyou. But she isnt on this site and there are some very helpful people on here (and some not) that know about a subject asked and can help.
terambulan- many thanks for your reply, as I said her primary school didnt do anything about it , even though my daugther has spoken to them. Lets hope her secondary school will pick up on it or will get her tested.
