funny feelings

hi, i have been on the depo injection for 2 years now, and over the last couple of days have been feeling a bit funny, i have had terrible back ache, needing a wee all the time, and feeling a little light headed. i asked the doc today while i was there with my son and he said oh its just period symptoms and that just because i dont see a period i still get symptoms. this is the first time i have felt like this in the 2 years that i have been having it. i also feel really shaky.
has anyone else felt like this?

did he take a sample of your wee for testing? it could be a urine or kidney infection

no he just told me basically it was in my head, because i spoke to him last week about coming off the injection to try for another baby i think he thinks i am imagining things because i want to be pregnant. its not like that at all i understand that it can take at least 6 months to become pregnant.

how about taking a test? if you do and its negative then you can at least go back and ask for a urine test for infection.

and of course if its positive youve got what youre hoping for anyway :)

it may be worth just checking, but my injection is only 3 days late so surely it cant happen that quick.

very doubtful which is why your gp shouldve checked for infection

hi its possible to get pregnant with any contraceptive. you could already be pregnant. i had a coil after my daughter and we decided to try 4 baby number 2 i got it removed on the 21st feb and by 20 march the test was positive, also a fair few friends who have got pregnant with injection and coil one of which had twins
