TBH I think the Trump family are so used to getting their own way, even before Trump Snr became president, that they are all used to saying something and it is (if not believed) taken as true. After all when a egotistic boss say the sky is yellow you agree, to keep your job.

Having seen the news last night where the BBC went to Nebraska to talk to Trump supporters they all thought it was something of nothing and just left wingers out for blood.
