Tuesday. A clear sky with a bright moon, The wee lass on the idiot box has just said that it's gong to change shortly. Such is life!

Tiggy is showing signs of movement, He'll have to come in if he wakes up, it's nowhere near warm enough for him.

Not a lot on today, might get some time in on the garden. A lot of stuff to go to the tip. Such fun I have! :o}

Effing awesome fire.

Lot's of property lost, highway closed for the last four days.

We are safe here in town at the mo. Depends on the weather.

Lost phones and internet for a few days, nothing in comparison to what others have lost.

Been out at friends farms for the last few days, hubby's are away fighting fires and supporting those that have lost.

Wives have been left to look after their farms.

Hopefully they are now fire ready.

It's a terrible situation. That explains why we haven't heard from you and why I could't phone you. They are still burning?

Yep, smouldering along.

As long as the wind stays down all should be good.

Lot's of "back burning" has been initiated, gives the fire no fuel if it does change direction.

Drove back into town last night, could see the flames about 15ks away.

that's the way of it right enough. The annoying thing is that some idiots think it's 'fun' to start them. They should be locked up for life.

Morning all. I feel like death.

I have a stinking cold which is in my nose, my throat and on my chest.

Some eejit started a fire near the coast because "his kid likes fire engines". He is now locked up and awaiting trial.

Not sure how the fire started here, know where it started.

Anyway, Mrs. Oz and I have six little 'uns camping here tonight. Dads away fighting fires, Mums stressing about evacuating.

I'm going to feed them bbq pork spare ribs, mixed veg with cheese sauce and mash.......What kid doesn't like unhealthy food?

Bet their mums feed them fat and cholesterol free *** ;-/

Exactly. Healthy eating is good, but the odd fix does no harm.

Many an animal has had a bullet, kindest thing to do when they are suffering. Too many to take to the local vet.

That's a point not many realise oz. any disaster has such tragedies that are not often mentioned.

All it takes for a wild animal or a stock animal is to have their feet burnt.

So much suffering, the kindest thing is euthanasia.

That's right mate. They suffer terribly with burned feet. so sad.
