Can Fibromyalgia be caused by HRT for Transgender people?
Is Fibromyalgia just an excuse for consultants (DR/MD's) to use when they don't have an answer?

The Trans community seem to be raged by this type of diagnosis. Sometimes the consultant will tell the person to stop HRT and other times they will say that stopping HRT won't help.

We all know that any imbalance can cause 'problems' however, do you feel that it's 'OK' to put any unknown down to Fibromyalgia?

I suffer from stress, do I have Fibromyalgia?

What if I have all the symptoms, ones that are just guess work?

What a very good question, one that I couldn't possibly comment on......but others might. It is a diagnosis made when all investigations have ruled out other conditions....as bednobs has suggested ijn the above post.

Not my area of expertise....but some say that HRT relieves the pain to some extent...others say that it makes it worse......take your pick.

No I don't, but patients do like a label to their illnesses even when the indications are remote.
