Duodenal Ulcer

Please can anyone tell me how quickly a duodenal ulcer can develop or the symptoms to become apparent? Can it happen as quickly as days?

It is impossible to say how long it takes an ulcer to develop symptoms............how could you tell? How would you know you had an ulcer if it was symptomless?
