im going for biopisis fri 9/10 what happens
Are the sores like this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warfarin_necrosis Apparently, skin necrosis can be a side effect. Maybe that is why they have switched drugs
fudgefudge - as Sqad has said both Sinthrome and Warfarin thin the blood in the same way, but are different chemically, so sometimes Sinthrome is used when warfarin cannot be tolerated because of side effects.
As I understand it warfarin has been stopped because of a skin rash - is that right?
Why were you on warfarin in the first place? How soon after starting warfarin did the rash/sores appear?
And are you now on Sinthrome?

Sorry about all the questions but a bit more information is needed.
