Hi again. I went to see the new ENT and he gave me a thorough examination. Conclusion is I do have Hypertrophied Turbinates. So he has suggested having Radio Frequency op. To shrink them. No big deal he says, the worst is the pre.op preparation and post op. washing out my nose 6 or 7 times a day until they are healed, 4-6 weeks. He told me I will have forgotten about all the discomfort I have been suffering these past years within 2 months post op. Sounds like solution ! Waddya think ?

Sounds very sensible to me and answers a lot of my queries about you.

Remember, the turbinates swell before they star to shrink and this may last up to about 10 days and you nose will feel more blocked. Then about a month later you should feel the benefit.

I am now happy....;-)

Oh thanks Sqad ! You make me feel even more confident there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Now I have to just decide when to have it done. Probably end of April or early May.
