If so, are they working for you? I've been taking them for 3 weeks for nerve pain, but they don't relieve it at all.

* Gabepentin
i suppose it depends on the dosage, i'm on the maximum 3600mg daily but i'm also on tramadol and paracetamol for nerve pain/damage. they seem to work for me. they do not seem very effective due to constant pain but when i miss a few doses then i know they do work. not sure which one does best job or mixture of all 3

Thanks Paul - I have only been prescribed 1 x3 daily. They probably do make a marginal difference - I will find out when I run out of them on Weds. Have apt for GP a week on Weds.
I have been taking it for 3 months due to post herpatic neuralgia (nerve pain) as a result of shingles. It has been keeping the pain away. A couple of times i forgot to take it and I noticed the pain coming back. A friend has been on it for 18 years for back pain. It is an interesting medicine, used for several ailments according to the internet. It is possible you aren't on strong enough dossage. I am on 300 mg, twice daily.
dad had these for peripheral neuropathy..did nothing for him..and he had to stop because of potential kidney damage ..
