Hi

Since my last post I have been to see gp as still in a lot of pain. All stats are fine and he listened to my chest, felt my stomach and asked lots of questions. In the end he thinks it is a very bad case of indigestion.

I don't particularly have the blocked feeling now, but I am still needing to burp and it hurts because the burp won't come up. Also when I swallow it hurts when the food passes down in my chest, just at one point on the right hand side.

Do you think this still sounds like indigestion? Having never suffered it before, I am in the unknown. The pain is incredible when it comes though.

I have been told to double my lansoprazole and that it may take up to two weeks for that to start working, they have also told me to take gaviscon but i haven't noticed that helping.

Thanks

At this moment.........I would agree with your GP, his diagnosis and his management.

The situation will need to be monitored and if there is little or no improvement, then the whole episode reviewed.

Feedback much appreciated.
