Prescribed some of the above, today. Is it ok to drink wine with these? I have read the leaflet but it doesn't mention alcohol. .

Not an official answer- but everyone I know on these, does drink alcohol occasionally, with no apparent problems. I'll look it up, anyway.
I used to when I took them but the wine doesn't really help the condition you need the Lansoprazole for.
Yes - it's fine - unless your GP has specifically banned booze as part of treating whatever underlying stomach issues the lansoprazole has been prescribed for.

They are to protect my stomach from the Naproxen I have to take. I don't have a stomach disorder, Frog Nog, just a very painful knee.

Thanks, Dave and Pixie. That link doesn't work, Pixie.
Snap, Tilly.

I take them to protect my stomach from the Etoricoxib I take occasionally when my knee flares up.

Wine is Fine.
Poor you Tilly. I hope it gets better soon.

Dave have you been overdoing it too?

Dave, those steps........!
Thanks tilly:-) x
I have for years, and no problems. A nice pinot rouge washes them down best.
?? that's obviously a blend of pinot noir and kanga rouge

jno, just keep taking the tablets :-)
I took Lanzoprazol for a while and it's Ok to drink wine. Am now on Omeprazole which is taken twice a day. Am sipping a nice glass of Sauve Blanc at the moment! You'll be fine! The only rule is try not to eat until about half an hour after taking the tablet.
