For one of our clients we use a cream after showers. It's a mix of canestan and 1% hydrocortisone. Very effective. Obviously she should keep the area as dry as possible. Maybe a little experimenting with different creams.
Cotton bras, wash the area twice daily and dry very well and use a clotrimazole spray. If it is particularly bad, apply hydrocosicone cream for up to 7 days.
Cotton bras are the answer. Suggest she buys some new (larger) well fitting supportive ones and make sure they are all cotton.

Shower this evening and use some talc and clean bra in the morning.

Baby powder better than talc.
Calendula cream to clear rash.
My answer was serious. Why was it removed?

ok thanks guys she does wear cotton bras but by 2 hrs at work she finds shes quite sweaty and bra is wet she didnt have this problem before she put weight on , shes got polycistic ovary syndrome so its bit harder to lose the weight
Question Author
wat was it frognog
Has she bought new bras recently tez? Its hard to admit it when you've gained a bit of weight, but an extra couple of cup sizes will make life more comfortable.
I would recommend cornflour rather than talc. It is very effective, unperfumed and cheap!
I suggested she put pant liners in her bra tezmand. It works but it seemed to offend someone.
Stick them near the wire

theres a thought about new bras ?? cornflour hmm never knew that

oh ok pant liners will be given a try cheers
I hope she's getting proper treatment for the PCOS. It has been abnormally hot and muggy lately which obviously doesn't help but the PCOS not only affects her weight but can also make her sweat more.

While she's at work she might find that using wet wipes and the spray will help her feel more comfortable. Maybe a change of bra in her lunch break, too.
I think that making sure she's wearing the correct size is important too, wearing bras that are too tight is not good.
Bras that don't give enough support are no good, either, causing a warm and moist area just waiting for infection.
Tez, I have always had the same problem,
i would give you the same advice as you have already had, good support bras, cotton not nylon, keep the area dry etc,
I found it cleared up when I started swimming twice a week, the only thing I can think is that the chlorine in the water must clear up my skin, it certainly made the rash go away,
and it comes back if I dont swim for a while.
a thin film of drapolene, should ward off potential pongs too!
this stuff is expensive but worth it
