I am going to Zambia end of next month, what injections do I need ?I love in outer London where do I get them done or do I go to my GP who is not very helpful at the best of times.

You need to contact your GP abut 8 weeks in advance - click on the National Travel Health Network link to see what vaccinations may be needed. Looks like quite a few..
There are also private travel vaccination clinics.

I would phone the health centre. You might just need an appointment with the practice nurse. It`s always a good idea to be vaccinated against polio and tetanus but it depends on where you are going/what you are doing etc as to which other ones you have. If you look at some sites, they`d have you vaccinated against absolutely everything but I just keep up thyphoid and yellow fever. Sometimes I decide to go for meningites/hepatitis if there`s an outbreak somewhere but then I don`t have to pay for it. If I paid for it, I`d think again!
