Aspirin is aspirin, it comes down to value for money.
tesco aspirin
I buy Boots own brand ones simply because I can buy more in one go than I can in any supermarket due the the pharmacist being there.
As far as I'm aware, aspirin is aspirin is aspirin.
Sorry, don`t know what happened there. Tesco Aspirin will be as good as any other but cheaper, probably.
Yes all aspirin is the same. My Grandmother was a Pharmacologist and she buys her drugs from Aldi ( 29p).
I would have thought they all have to meet a set standard. I expect they will be as good as any other. And you save a quid!

Thanks all. It's as I hoped.
Aspirin is aspirin is aspirin.

The only conceivable difference between aspirin tablets is if they have an enteric coating - this protects the stomach but, ironically, delays the effect of the aspirin.

Enteric coated aspirin is a 'premium product' and will be more expensive everywhere.
I always by our paracetamol, ibruprofen and aspirin at Lidl - exactly the same as branded ones and a lot cheaper.
Mrask used to take soluble aspirin every day, I think he was prescribed a 'coated' aspirin to prevent stomach problems.
Aspirin at Asda pharmacy are 32 tablets for 28 pence. A real bargain. Either ordinary or soluble.
