Another allergy

My nieces who are away on holiday developed very sore skin around their eyes. Their mum went to local chemist and after some discussion it was diagnosed as an allergic reaction to the latex eyepieces on a pair of binoculars they had recently bought. Anyone else had this experience?

I haven't, but I suppose many have, but I must say that from what you have described, I agree with the local pharmacist.

I haven't either but I've heard of people being allergic to the latex around swimming goggles so I suppose it's a similar thing.
