Excessively dry mouth/thirst, extreme lethargy.
I am nearly 75 years old. Apart from an artificial hip, which precludes jogging and the like, I am usually fairly fit. Over the last week ,or so, I have been waking at night with a really dry mouth. I take a bottle of water to the bedroom , the obvious result is that I do not get an unbroken nights sleep.
During the day, I seem to have no energy to do anything at all. We live in Cyprus and are fortunate enough to have a swimming pool in the back garden, so twice a day I do at least 45mins aerobics (or my version thereof), I have always been fit and this feeling of lethargy is most unusual for me.
Has any body any suggestions please?
PS Doctors in Cyprus are quite expensive.
