Sorry. Cost

I had mine done on the National Health, hence, free. Are you not a British taxpayer, then? If you pay National Insurance contributions in the UK, you don't have to pay.

Thanks. I know it can be done on the NHS but our local authority is making severe cuts and has asked local opticians not to refer unless essential. My local nhs clinic and i disagree and I am not the free loading type.

Privately between £1,600 and £2,700 including consultant's fees according to one site I looked at.

Hi Sqad

How are you? What's the next step re. your treatment?
£2500 here in Cornwall plus any bed costs, though technially an out-patient procedure.

What do your doc and optician think? Their "evidence" will be the most convincing to overturn this.

Do you drive a lot at night? - if so, point this out, as cataract sufferers often have a lot of headlight "glare" issues
yoga....I am fine thanks....treatment?....just drugs now......no big deal though ;-)
