Depends what time I have to get up - if it's 5.30 for work, then it's fine - if it's any later then I've had too long in bed.
No, I feel better for an early night.

Is alcohol involved?
Yes if i have to much sleep i always feel worse for it.
If I wake up and get up I'm usually fine, if I wake up and decide to have another 10 mins or so I feel really dopey for the next hour or two. I also find that going to bed early does not suit me (which is why I'm still on here at 12.40am) as if I go to bed about 10.30pm, then sleep till about 12, then wake up at 2, 3, 5etc for the rest of the night. I also used to work nights, and have never really recovered from that.
Do you go to bed just because "it is time for bed " or do you wait until you are tired enough? I have been told many times that going to bed before you are tired is counter-productive.
i generally wake up at 5 to 5 which annoyingly is five minutes before my alarm goes off. be it late night, early night, weekday, weekend or anything in between, i'll wake up just before 5....

..unless i forget to put my alarm on.
