Tingling Hands and Feet

I was unable to sleep last night due to a really bad tingling sensation in both hands and feet which has continued all morning. Last night I took my usual medication for high blood pressure and anti-depressants. I also took Ibuprofen for a painful ankle and 2 x 25g Phenergan to help me sleep. I have looked on the NHS website but there is so much on there about the tingling hands and feet that it begins to get a bit confusing. Anyone have any ideas what this could be as it is driving me crazy?

This is not a side effect of any of your drugs, although you haven't said which antidepressant you have taken and which hypotensive agent and even so it is unlikely that these would cause your pins and needles.

As this is just a recent event, I shouldn't worry as nothing sinister comes to mind and i would just monitor the situation.

Thanks Sqad, taking 2 x 4 mg Reboxetine daily but I have been on these for ages so don't think it's anything to do with them. I just hope it hurries up and goes away as it's driving me mad and I could do with some sleep.
Well Reboxitine can cause pins and needles, rarely, but as you have been taking them for years, they are unlikely to be the cause.

Try not to think of unusual and obscure diseases.
morning jan, if the tingling does not improve, phone your gp surgery.
I’m no medical expert, but pins & needles in the hands and feet can be caused by a poor blood supply (to these parts), possibly low blood pressure.
