Wrinkles at 20

I'm only 20 and I've already developed quite a deep wrinkle on my forehead. I have dry rather than greasy skin and I think that might have something to do with it. I also (this will sound strange) have a very expressive face; I do frown a lot etc. Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent wrinkles etc. Like creams or anything? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like it's your expressive facial movements which are causing those lines. You're probably always raising your eyebrows without realising and this is causing furrows. To be honest there isn't much you can do about it, except perhaps have Botox.

Try to become more conscious of what your face is doing, if you're worried about the lines worsening.

Botox or a chemical peel'd be the only way to remove any deep lines, but you can minimise further damage by not smoking, not drinking too much, getting plenty of rest, not frowning unduly - and using a good moisturiser. You could always use a "filler" under makeup, as well.

Hi yellowduck 'm trying to look for some creams also for wrinkles & dark shadaws as I have it bad!

But before you go out and buy something from the shops, wait! Monday night at 8pm on C4 there is a documentry called 'The Truth About Beauty Creams' and so I'd suggest you watch it, I will, as we really don't know what we are buying these days!

Doing facial exercises helps. You can get a book from the library or alternatively look at the internet.

By exercising the muscles in our faces helps keep them toned. You do pull some really funny faces, but you do just 5 mins a day (I do them when I am on the loo!!), only been doing for a couple of weeks but already notice a difference!!

I don’t think the deep wrinkle will disappear totally but this may stop it getting worse.

Hope this helps!!

I used to use expensive and "recomended" products to get rid of wrinkles, or spots ...etc. I stoped when I found out they didn't work at all. I started to use natural home made balm and masks to improve my skin and I see the effects every day. Quick and simple advice for "baby-face". Use goat milk mixed with boiled (but cooled ) water. Wash your face every morning after awakening.

I found more ideas in a very good free beauty guide. Check it out here:
