Someone in the advertising company got that ever so slightly wrong.
The problem here is that it is factually incorrect, muslim girls do not wear the hijab until they reach puberty. Looks like the author needs to bone up on their subject.
Not true TTT, some do unfortunately;

"A leading Muslim women's campaigner says making young children wear the hijab is as bad as youngsters having spray tans and pole dancing lessons.

Shaista Gohir, of the Muslim Women's Network, made the remark as she defended a Catholic school which has banned a four-year-old girl from wearing the headscarf.

And she insisted that it was not a requirement of the faith for young girls of that age, claiming the move could 'sexualise' children."

TTT, some do - even babies in some instances. Rubbish advert anyway.
"The reason a female is covered is so men don't look at her."
Wow, aren't we meant to look at females in hijabs ? Well that works well.

Anyway most folk are covered, very few nudes in the High Street.
They are doing it specifically to annoy you personally AOG !
Eddie, They have their reasons, but I doubt that's one of them.
Well they are advertising for punters and aiming at the demographic. I'm just surprised with it being Londonistan there are any white faces in it at all given the current makeup of the city.

Well, I was commenting on the waste of money on a Book produced for TfL's young Traffic Club, that has now had to be scrapped.
And I have commented on the bonkersness of it
Irish and white people stereotyping.

And I'm no Christian.

I can understand books for children containing stock characters (aka stereotypes) but for goodness sake - get them right without being ridiculous.

Don't treat young readers as fools.

has anyone looked at the Beebz loving news items on Partition and thought this has nothing at all to do with British Politics seventy years later ? [ at they are echoing the then current view that Mountbatten was solely responsible for a million deaths]
Question Author
Mountbatten was not solely responsible for a million deaths, he was forced into partitioning India, as a peaceful solution to the in fights that were taking place, prior to the British departure from India.

The savagery that took place afterwards can be laid firmly at the feet of the Indian people.
