Hair plait

How long do they normally stay in place just wondering what with sleeping in it etc

about 10 minutes for me, i woke up this morning looking like wurzel

Mine used to last all day, never tried sleeping in it.

a French plait should last a few days but will go fuzzy whilst sleeping
A normal one lasts a day and usually unravels over night to some degree

my hair was in a french plait last night, i had a restless night! If i put it up wet it will usually last the night

When my hair was longer I used to plait it while it was damp after combing some gel through it . As I sleep almost on my front it would stay looking ok for two or three days When I did a 'hairband' plait that stayed in for even longer
