It's Argan oil, issi - expensive, and although I don't use it, I believe it's excellent. We bought some back from Morocco but I haven't opened it yet.
I bought the pure Argan oil for my hair (although the bottle says it can also be put n salad etc). I found it very heavy even in small amounts but the main reason I don't use it is because it stinks to high heaven - like salami. I did try a Redken version in the hairdressers though and that was lovely and recommended by the hairdresser.

Many thanks
I was at my hairdressers, and she was getting some mythic oil in stock, but i thought it will be expensive to buy from her,so i bought mine from amazon for 12 pounds, for 125 ml bottle,i only use one amount from the pump action bottle,it makes hair bouncy and great when using straighteners, hair shiny and managable, its made by loreal professional
I wash my hair, let it dry naturally. What is Moroccan Oil supposed to do?
it is rather crude......
Culinary argan oil and cosmetic argan oil are different. They both come from the same source but are processed differently. Cosmetic oil shoul not be eaten and although you can use culinary oil for cosmetic purposes, it won't be as good.

I didn't know that karen and it explains a lot so thanks. Daisy it's just supposed to be a natural softener and shine/conditioning treatment.
Daisy as you dry your hair naturally maybe its not for you, but if you are using heated drying and styling items, its excellent
I just looked on amazon and there is a fair few, is there any particular brand of this oil to look out for to use on your hair?
