does anyone recall a poem which includes the lines: What you are I cannot say, Only this I know full well, when
I touched your face today, drifts of blossom .........and fell

well I found it here and it appears to be called "The Heart's Journey"....can't find an author and the poster indicates that she/he may have written it....pretty strange cnvrsation going on too.

I always believed the author to be Siegfried Sassoon but wasn't sure. Thanks to your information I have discovered
that Sassoon did write a book by that same title ie The heart's journey.
