Clanad Hi, thanks for the help with the hebrew tattoo. I need your help again if possible. I loved the tattoo so much that i want the same on the other arm. However i would need it to be of similar length as the previous Hebrew symbols. Was lookin for somthing along the lines to do with: Power, Strength or Loyalty. If you could help me with this again would be very appreciate thanks Johno :-)

I can't remember how many symbols we had in the first one, Johno... but see if this is something you'd be interested in...in transliterated Hebrew it's Dread not, neither be afraid (or have no fear). Looks like this:

From the Hebrew characters in the middle of the page, counting left from the character nearest the number 29, the first phrase has 5 characters, next has 4, last one on that line has 9. On that last phrase, count 4 characters to the one that looks somewhat like a Y with a spray on the top of the left arm of the Y. That's the beginning of the word/phrase 'arats, or Don't possess dread for a total of 5 characters... continue on to the next line and again counting from the right margin moving to the left count off 3 characters. This represents have no fear... this will give you 8 total characters. See what you think... if you'd like something else, let me know since this one isn't verbatim to your request but captures the sense of what you've suggested...
As with the first one... it won't translate well, since the language is written right to left and won't make a whole lot of sense (except to you) when inscribed from bottom up (wrist to elbow) so to speak... As well, keep in mind that at sometime in your life, a Hasidic Jew (the black hatted, long haired pious ones) will jump your case, since marking ones skin is forbidden in Leviticus...
It would be more appropriate to be able to quote you something that isn't Old Covenant related, but, unfortunately, there's not much in modern Hebrew with the richness of meaning you're seeking...

Your phrase begins in the second lne, last 6 characters (again, right to left) and first 3 characters of the bottom line.
This site is of interest since you cansee how the written language has changed since the Paleo-Hebrew...

Brilliant thanks Clanad i have gone for the one you suggested, but i have got all of the phrase: "Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them." As this is near enough the same length as my other Hebrew tattoo.
