Who has the answer to all these dreadful terrorists events all over the world, you have London, Paris, Madrid, Australia, Manchester, surely the Muslim people must try harder to find an answer, I'm not calling each and every Muslim as there is evil amongst Christians, I said last week about the Protests pointed at Salman Rushdie and his book, so if the Muslim Community are fearing for reprisals they should be doing far more to get rid of the scum that use the Muslim Religion to fight their cause.

Ban religion.

I only know a few Muslims and they are Muslim by birth, not practice.

Anyone on the watch list should have their internet disabled.
good idea Ummmm..sadly I don't think there is an answer but internet depravation would help...where there is a will there will always be a way irrespective of faith etc
Banning religion wouldn't work but it's a good idea nonetheless.

Don't have an answer really, but when people are concerned about a person and report it, it should be followed up and not seemingly brushed under the carpet.
So, so far the suggestions are to inform folk that they are being watched by trying to remove their broadband, despite free WiFi ensuring it's not possible, and removing a right to believe in what you believe, a tactic that has been tried and failed elsewhere.

The is no single answer. People will always be able to act atrociously if they choose to. We need to continue what we presently are doing, but do it better. One thing that could, maybe, be looked at, greater action against those found to be aiding and/or allowing the preaching of hatred. The trustees of mosques, for example, where we understand such brainwashing can occur, should know what is going on.
OG - It takes time to brain wash someone. They can't sit in free wifi hotspots for hours on end.

They go there after they have been corrupted. They get corrupted from meeting people spreading the hate.
People talk about ‘brainwashing’ but it is the duty of all Muslims to spread the word of Allah. The complication arises from Islamic texts which teach that non-believers are the enemy of Islam – and that justifies Jihad – holy war. If we are to defeat this ever-growing worldwide problem, rather than continue to attempt to deflect attacks, which is what we’re currently doing, we must openly acknowledge and address the root cause. However, in a society that insists it must remain tolerant, I don’t believe that will ever happen – and if it did, how are we going to convince millions upon millions of people that the literature they’ve relied upon since birth to guide them in every aspect of their lives, and which they regard at irrefutable, is at fault? We can begin a very lengthy process of educating the young in ways more conducive to civilised society by abolishing faith schools; we can monitor mosques and the internet, and we can remove Imams and Islamic literature from prisons, but other than removing the proponents of violence from society altogether, which would go some way to sticking a plaster over the wound, there is no short-term solution.
sadly I agree with Naomi ...
