Hi all. My mum was telling me she heard about a woman on TV born late 1890/1900 (I think) called Helen Stansten / Stansted who tried her best to do everything differently as a woman in a time when that wasn't done. I'd like to buy her a book about her but my searches are proving futile. Maybe I got the name wrong. Anyone know what I mean? Thank you

She could possibly have been American. I'm not sure.
Unfortunately don't have a local library any more. They closed it and moved it into the sports centre so they could build a Lidl on the land. Then closed the Sports Centre but thank you xx
