Hey,
I brought the below primer to paint some untreated external wood posts. if i am happy with the look of them after using just the primer do i still have to go over them with external paint, or will the primer alone make them weather proof?

I'd paint over the primer with a top coat if I were you, tandh. Primer is usually very thin.

It's not called primer for nothing. It's for priming the wood. You should put top coats on top.

Ok, thanks boys, i just can't believe how much external paint is, i have only got a few posts to do so hopefully i won't need too much paint
I stumbled on it after Youtubing the New Zealand accent :-) It pretty much sums it up, they really do pronounce things like that.
