This is a super lovely programme but I thought the old Russians were Russian Orthodox? That is they do not recognise the concept of Holy Spirit as do Roman Catholics ie Council of Trent of 680 ie a different branch of Christianity. So would the old Russians not have crossed themselves left, right, and down? I do not know but refer to the scene were the chap was thought to be dead but was not. And how was post delivered at a certain time as the old Prince suggested? It would have been any old time any one wandered up with a letter. The English were yet to invent the postal service some 20 years in the future. And why do they speak English? Still gorgeous to look at though! Perfect Sunday viewing.
