I Am Sick Of You Lot

Yes I am! There are far too many posts moaning about the heat and the weather.
Here I am in the wilds of North Yorkshire wrapped up in a thick dressing gown to keep warm. There is a permanent wind blowing hard off the sea and we have the winter duvet on the bed, but you don't hear me moaning.
Now pack it in or I shall be forced to get the book out...AND the red pen.

haha Mrs O, I try not to moan as I know people love the heat. I am only really happy in Spring and Autumn as it is comfortable for me, I have pale skin so just keep out of it. By the way I am from the West Riding of Yorkshire so a native northerner.

Totally agree Mrs O,it is only for a short time,stop moaning it is far easier to keep cool and cheaper than trying to keep warm!!

we never get happy medium weather for long it is either too hot or too *** cold . Bikinis yesterday waterproofs and wellies toiday .

Been here almost 18 months now, moved from the top of the White Cliffs (Dover area), loving it here, White Cliffs could be brutal, this is nice most of the time.

move to sunny Slough....we're boiling down here. Theres plenty of lidos, sports centres with pools, lakes, canal & Thames to cool off in. I converted my greenhouse to a swimming pool/jacuzzi.....magical ;)
