Would you care to elaborate on this particular biblical prophesy? Right now it's a little vague. Please fill in the blanks for us - specifically, how will this conflict pan out in the short term and in the long run? Be specific please.

I assume he thinks Russia is the King of the North. I’m not sure who he thinks the King of the South is.

In the books, Mosaic, Stannis is still alive (or at least his fate is uncertain, though one enemy claims his death), at the end of the fifth and so far last. So who knows? Maybe the king in the north means the leader of the Wights?

Any chance you could elaborate on your claim about biblical prophesy? It's been 24 hours since I first requested more information from you.

Assuming that you're not going to present us with a single shred of proof that your quote has any meaning in today's world, I am going to assume certain things. First, the phrase "King Of The North" does not allude to Russia. As the bible was written in approximately 200 AD by people living in the Middle East with little or no knowledge of the world north of Southern Europe, it is highly unlikely that the existence of the entire Eurasian continent would be known to them. Russia, as we understand it today, would be completely unknown.

So what "North" is the bible referring to? Most probably Turkey. Given that biblical writers were extremely parochial (evidenced by the Noah story, in which the animals being taken onto the Ark all lived within a stones-throw from the Middle East. No mention of any creatures from Australia, the Americas, Russia, The Arctic, Antarctic, etc. are mentioned) it is more than likely that when referring to "the North" they are speaking about a very small geographic area.

Turkey is my bet. That's where the immediate threat was - the Roman Republic.
