I've just finished this and, can't praise it highly enough.

It is written in the present and moves back to the past. In this case, the past being, the last two and a half days.

The "reveal" stunned me and I never saw it coming.

Has anyone read it and what did you think?

Jeffrey Deaver at his best.

Thanks for that info. I've only recently discovered Jeffery Deaver and I like his writing very much.
I liked the idea but couldn't get past the first couple of chapters. Found it too confusing

I promise if you persevere mxy, you will not be disappointed.

janbee. The first book and the one that got me hooked on him was, The Sleeping Doll.
I've just finished reading The Sleeping Doll. I've now read quite a few of his books. I'm now quite "hooked".
he is indeed a very good storyteller, I was hooked by the Bone Collector which is also a great film starring Angelina Jolie and Denzil Washington.
Yes, I've read the Bone Collector. Quite chilling wasn't it
Yes it was and the detail that Deaver puts into the forensic investigations carried out by Lincoln Rhymes(?) is incredible

With The October List, you find yourself saying, "Woah, I never saw that coming!!" And, trust me, me sitting in bed with my mouth open, is not a pretty sight. :)
