Alton towers story

Years ago (poss 15 ish) My son had a book (might have been charity shop book-so older) set in Alton towers-I THINK it was a ghost story- but mainly runaways living in Alton Towers Gardens-as i am going soon, (not been for 20 years) I have been remembering it-I enjoyed reading it out loud to him (he hated reading himself). ANY chance anyone knows of it-what author it was?? TIA

Sounds like one of the "Goosebump" books. I will have a look in a mo, as my son has got them all!

Thanks Chris-thats brilliant. ps bought onions today but will give them to Mickrog on saturday-as they were for him when he's here-yes have eaten 5, but tiny ones,lol got no willpower, and as you said, it wasn't what caused my problem,(hadn't looked before) thanks for replying
