Does anyone know who painted this? I was googling for images and stumbled upon this one on a Turkish blog I intended to return to later, but now I can't find it again. (Not that I understand Turkish anyway...)

Hi Peter Pedant, it looks very twentieth century to me but I wouldn't have said as early as 1900-1910. But I'm just guessing.
Thanks!

It looks similar to the work of Walter Sickert, but trawling through websites, I can't find that actual piece anywhere.
However, that would fit in with Peter's estimate of the early 20th C timeframe.

Hi sg, I googled Sickert and found a whole lot of unmade beds... but generally with a nude in'em! He seems "darker" to me. Thanks for your contribution, though. Appreciate it.
