Hi there. Yes it should do - I normally buy the 'Art Attack' one. I like to make papier mache Halloween masks and it makes for really good 'wet bits'. Also made a for for my son with a moat, paint it on the blue paint and you have shiny water.

You could always test it first. Depending on the brand.

yes it dose and glosses it like a clear varnish but as long as you do not clump it on or it may show pva color

If you use loads of pva this is a little gem.
