Albani vase

Has anyone any succinct information on this vase?
Did the Albani vase come from the fountain by della Porta in front of the Pantheon? Was it Roman or did he design and make it? When was it removed and why is it called the Albani vase? Where is it now?

Hello there,
According to this site:~
http://www.judy-fox.com/content/pair-grand-tou r-vases
The vase was Roman, and discovered in the grounds of Cardinal Allesandro Albani:~
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Villa_Albani

However,I cannot find any link between the vase and the Pantheon Fountain:~
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fontana_del_Panth eon

It certainly doesn't look as if it could ever have been on the fountain:~
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl =it&u=http://www.thais.it/citta_italiane/roma/ fontane/piazze/piazza_rotonda/pag_01.htm&sa=X& oi=translate&resnum=6&ct=result&prev=/search%3 Fq%3DFontana%2Bdel%2BPantheon%26hl%3Den%26sa%3 DG

Nor can I find any reference to where it is is now.Of course Rome was invaded several times since it's discovery, so it might have been taken as loot,or destroyed?
