When a well-known person dies this site ends up with similar threads in 2 or 3 different topics. Should there be a separate topic just for deaths?

Yes.
Looks like we're gonna need one!

Hatches, Matches and Dispatches
I've suggested this at least twice before, I think there are currently 3 or 4 threads on Victoria Wood and 3 on Prince. Some of the responses I got were 'so what'. I think it's needed. I'd also like to hear of one celebrity death this year somewhere other than AB first!!
Ed wasn't convinced when Prudie last asked the same question, I think it's worth considering.

They're dropping like flies this year so, maybe, it's time for Mr. Ed to have another think.
If we can't have a separate Topic/Category, can we at least get into the habit of having informative headings? Posts which are titled 'Totally Gutted' or 'Breaking News' aren't very helpful.
Seems cold but you are absolutely right neveracrossword.

I don't reckon a category would work since the number of posts in CB about seasonal things, xmas and weather far exceeds the number posted in those categories. They might as well not be there.
