Hi Ed Since your thread about followers on Facebook I clicked the "Like" icon. I've noticed on my Facebook page snippets from Answerbank across the range of Topics...But no Crossword or Q&P threads. Seeing as this is what bought a lot of us to Answerbank don't you think it might be an idea once or twice a week to put the odd "juicy" crossword clue or quiz thread on Facebook?

You're right - but how do I know what is juicy? Q&P is so fast that I barely get to read a clue before it's been buried (and answered!)

What kind of thread would you like to see us share? Can you show us examples?
crossword clues quickly get out of date when they're answered but maybe regulars in that section could nominate a "cleverest clue of the week" or something
That would be great Jno. I get a bit lost about what's important to Q&P and Crossworders (until I see a long thread turn up). I'd like to give a bit more back to that group and represent them better on our social channels. If you ever see a good thread Mazie (or anyone involved!) please ping it across to the normal inbox!

We could do our own little crossword maybe? Just 1across and 1down?

Any other ideas welcome!

Ahhh I like this idea, Ed!

Will do Ed... I think the odd Crossword or quiz thread on Facebook would attract a few members. One that springs to mind was the Christmas quiz one...I'll go and have a look for it. The dreaded Poard clue.... back later x
You'll have to explain what a Poard clue is as well :)
Question Author
LOL it was a question in one of the Christmas Quizzes and ran to about 4 pages... No-one could get it..... The Clue was POARD and the answer was CHristmas Eve... Eve PoLLard with No(e) L
We do have this as well: https://twitter.com/answerbankqandp

But it's still not quite what you're looking for!
You lot are right clever.

Here's one that got us all scratching our heads......

Do you think slightly "historical" ones like that (which are quite funny to read) would be worth sharing?

Just for a taster yes.... Might also be worth asking some of the other cruciverbalists to ping the odd Juicy question to you Ed.
