Olympics Sub Section in Sport

There will be no end of posts on the subject and I wonder if nearer the time we might have a special section in Sport for the Olympics?

There will be ABers who wish to avoid the topic and it might prevent them moaning at us if we have a place to post rather than overspilling into general sections.

posted last night, there is at the moment a general avoidance of anything Olympic, nad an abhorrance at the thrusting of the entire "goody feeling" surrounding it.

IMHO, rebadging the AB site wouldn't sit well with a sizeable chunk of ABers, however, as the Ab Editor has complete control of this site, then any logo is entirely within his remit.

I think they'll be in the minority when it comes to it Nibble. It goes without saying that we'll have the rings as logo, Ed won't be scared off by a few negatives i'm sure :-)

G'afternoon Ed......I agree that we have enough sub-sections; in fact too many.

However, did I not read somewhere in AB that you are looking forward to the Olympics. Furthermore, that you are currently working on a complete re-hash of the 'Topics'.

My thought therefore is that, as AB could be subjected to a reduction of 'sub-sections' prior to the Olympics, it would be possible for the OP's suggestion to be incorporated into the changes.

Incidentally, you could 'knock-out' at this stage the sub-section of Christmas, because I appear to be the only person who is making full use of it.

rowanwitch.....There is a Freudian connection. Perhap's it is something which goes back to my birth, which was somewhat premature. It did involve a 'shot-gun' wedding. :-)
