I clicked the 'Smileys' and, because I have WOT ( Web of trust) added to my Browser, I received a message which indicated that the site had a poor reputation.

Incidentally....The Ed has commented on Avatars and Back Arrow and I have responded accordingly.

I agree, I think that Gravatar has delivered the goods, but AB hasn't collected them from the back door.

LOL neti, I like the analogy - perhaps they put one of those dodgy cards through the door, saying Ed has to ring a premium number in Belize to arrange redelivery....

PS I updated to my Christmas avatar yesterday, I'll see how long it takes - changing to this one only took a couple of days, so I think I was lucky!

I changed my Avatar to a Christmas one a few weeks ago, it was my first attempt as a beginner and it worked straightaway .......

Im a new boy on AB and after the requesite 14 days i set up an avatar with Gravatar and it took a day or so for the Activate Avatar button to appear in my profile. Dont know if I want to keep fiddling with the picture though.
