I can't see any snow, kate but I can't see any 'meat' either. It does look cold, though.

I'll keep my eye on this. I love the fact that the meat is provided by a local butcher, and that roadkill is chucked in!

Why has all that food been there all morning? Can't believe it hasn't been found by some creature or bird.

I've been keeping an eye on this from the out set and all I've seen so far is a squirrel running through the hedgerow, in the background and a pair of eyes reflecting, also near the hedge.
The food is often gone when I later look again, so I guess its a matter of luck, if you see anything.
Nocturnal scavengers seem to be most active at dusk or dawn, so that might be a good time to look see.

I saw the man putting a dead rabbit(or something) there. Well, saw the back of his willies. If you put food out around here you'd be inundated with magpies, crows and seagulls in no time. So I reckon there must be a large bird of prey, about there, scaring all the other things off. What d'you reckon?

I think it's tilly and gness lurking in a hedgerow that's scaring them off, sweaty:-)
