Blue Bird Egg

I have found a blue birds egg in a planter in my garden. The egg is bright blue and approx 2cm at the longest point. It has no spots or markings. It is broken and has a part grown chick inside but I cannot see a nest anywhere near.

Might be a Blackbird egg.

Lots of birds have blue eggs, have you looked at robin's egg?
